From your Dashboard, click any domain to view its detail page. From there you can manage all aspects of the domain.
View and edit the registrant, administrative, billing, and technical contacts associated with your domain. Keeping this information accurate is required by ICANN.
Change the nameservers your domain points to. By default, new domains use Netsville's nameservers (ns1.netsville.com and ns2.netsville.com). You can change these to point to any hosting provider.
Your domain is locked by default to prevent unauthorized transfers. A locked domain cannot be transferred to another registrar.
When to unlock: You only need to unlock your domain if you are intentionally transferring it to a different registrar. Once the transfer is complete (or if you decide not to transfer), lock it again immediately.
Why keep it locked: Domain hijacking is a real threat. Keeping your domain locked ensures that no one can initiate a transfer without your explicit action.
The authorization code (also called an EPP code or transfer key) is required when transferring your domain to another registrar. You can reveal it from the domain detail page. Keep this code private — anyone with it can initiate a transfer if your domain is unlocked.
